Getting into a dream medical college and pursuing an MBBS degree is a goal many NEET aspirants strive for. It’s a path filled with challenges, but the reward is worth it. After completing MBBS, cracking NEET PG to secure a spot for postgraduate studies is a moment of pride for any family, especially for the parents of a daughter who has worked so hard to achieve her dreams. Sounds like the perfect story, right?
But imagine the shock of a parent receiving news that their daughter, instead of thriving in her medical career, was found dead in her college hospital. Not just dead, but allegedly by suicide—at least, that’s what the college authorities claimed.
This tragic incident happened at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. A young female doctor was on a grueling 36-hour shift—something we all know is incredibly exhausting. At 2 AM, she left her post and headed to the seminar room, likely seeking some much-needed rest. The next day, she was found dead. The scene was horrific: she was in a seminude state, with multiple wounds, pieces of glass in her eyes, and signs of brutal violence. The autopsy revealed even more disturbing details, including vaginal bleeding and other injuries too graphic to describe.
Despite all this evidence, the college administration still labeled it a suicide. Do they think we are blind? Like Dhritrashtra, blindly believing whatever sanjay say?
But the truth is out now—circulating on social media for days. Some reports even suggest there was 150 ml of semen found inside her, pointing clearly to gang rape. The prime suspect? Sanjoy Roy, a civic volunteer with access to various departments. His history is disturbing: multiple marriages, a porn addiction, and now, a suspected heinous crime. The CBI is investigating, but the real question is, how long will justice take?
As we look back on 78 years of independence, we have to ask ourselves: Is India truly free from such monsters? Is our country really safe? These questions haunt us. The harsh reality is that people like this exist, and as the saying goes, “One rotten apple spoils the bunch.” Sadly, such incidents aren’t rare in India. The mindset of these individuals is deeply troubling. And let’s be honest—sharing stories on Instagram won’t change their twisted ideologies. Who knows, one of these criminals might be reading this very blog or even sharing those “justice for victims” posts to appear innocent, only to commit another
These twisted minds spare no one—not children, not the elderly, not even the dead. Strong, swift justice might bring change, but we all know how long it takes for a case to be resolved in India.
With Raksha Bandhan just around the corner, all we can do is promise our sisters that we’ll always stand by them, ready to protect them whenever needed. Let’s hope justice is served this time—for her, and for all the daughters of this country.
Regards,
Madhav
